Try this twist on a classic burger for your next game-day meal or an easy weeknight dinner.
If you're in the mood for a burger with a twist, try these Asian pork burgers. They're juicy, flavorful, and packed with savory goodness.
While the burgers cook, toast the buns and prepare any toppings you like, such as sliced cucumbers, pickled carrots, or Sriracha mayo. Serve hot and enjoy the delicious flavors of Asian cuisine in burger form.
Combine the first 6 ingredients in a bowl. Add the ground pork and mix well. Shape into 8 patties and top each with a pineapple slice. If using uncooked bacon, wrap each patty with a bacon strip and secure with a toothpick for cooking or grilling. Yield: 8 Burgers
Cook the patties on a grill, griddle, or skillet for about 6-8 minutes per side. Check that the internal temperature has reached 160 degrees and the juices run clear. Serve on warmed buns.
* I made a quick sriracha mayo to top ours as well. This was just mayo plus sriracha sauce to reach the spiciness that we like.
Other topping ideas: thinly sliced cucumber, shredded carrot, fresh cilantro, & pickled onions.
