These Asian-style steak skewers feature tender steak cooked to perfection on the grill and brushed with a simple 3-ingredient sauce. Bursting with savory-sweet flavors, these skewers are perfect for any barbecue or a fast weeknight meal.
Ingredients
1 1/2pounds beef skirt steak, thinly sliced
salt & pepper
2Tbsp sliced green onions
1tsp sesame seeds
Sauce:
1/4cup liquid aminos or light soy sauce
1Tbsp chili garlic sauce or chili crisp
3Tbsp hoisin sauce

While preheating griddle or grill to high heat, prepare the sauce and skewers.
For the sauce: mix together all ingredients in a small bowl. Set aside.
Prepare the skewers using the accordion method.
Sprinkle all sides of the skewers with salt and pepper.
Lay the skewers on the griddle or grill and let them sear 3-4 minutes per side.
After the first flip, begin generously basting the skewers on both sides.
Serve over rice or your side of choice. Add green onions and sesame seeds as garnish. Enjoy!
