Use any type of sausage you prefer, such as Italian sausage, chorizo, or even chicken sausage. Add your favorite veggies to the sheet pan, like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, or peppers. It's a simple and delicious meal that you can adapt to your taste!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven the 400F. Prepare all the vegetables by chopping them to similar sizes about, about 1.5 inch cubes or bites. Prepare the sausage by cutting it into 1 inch slices as well. Set aside the cut broccoli pieces.

  1. In a large bowl add the sausage, sweet potatoes, and onion. Also, add any other vegetables you may be adding but not the broccoli. Drizzle over the oil and lemon juice and add seasonings. Toss to coat all the veggies and sausage in the dressing.

  1. Pour all the veggies and sausage onto a large sheet pan. Spread into a single layer. Place into the preheated oven to cook at 400F for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, pour all the veggies and sausage back into the large bowl and add the broccoli pieces as well. Toss to coat the broccoli and veggies in the sausage drippings and dressing. Add the veggies and sausage back to the sheet pan and cook an additional 20 minutes until the broccoli is crisp-tender and the sweet potatoes are cooked through. Serve immediately.
